Data Protection
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. In this privacy policy, we would like to provide you with detailed information about what data we collect from users of our website, for what purposes, and how we process and use it.
Who is responsible for your data?
The notaries are responsible for the lawful collection, processing, and use of your data.
What data do we collect and for what purposes?
Usage data:
When you visit our website, our servers automatically store various data. This includes:
- Date and time of the request,
- Name of the requested file,
- page from which the file was requested,
- the browser type and version used,
- the operating system used,

We use this usage data to make our website accessible to you, to identify and rectify any technical problems that may arise, and to prevent and, if necessary, prosecute misuse of our services. In addition, we use usage data in anonymized form, i.e., without the possibility of identifying you as a user, for statistical purposes and to improve our website.
Legal basis:
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 (1) (b), (c), (e), and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with Art. 4 of the Bavarian Data Protection Act (BayDSG) and §§ 3 ff. of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Data Protection Act (LDSG).

The same applies if you call us and wish us to process your request. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Cookies
Our websites use cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your data carrier and exchange certain settings and data with our system via your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which the cookie data was sent, as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identifier.
Cookies enable us to design the website in a way that appeals to you and make it easier for you to use, for example by storing certain entries you have made so that you do not have to repeat them constantly.
We use so-called session cookies: Session cookies are deleted after you close your browser. When you log into a protected area of our website, a session cookie is set.
We do not use the information stored in the cookies to identify you. Nor is it merged with other personal data that we have stored about you.
We do not use the information stored in cookies to identify you. Nor is it merged with other personal data that we have stored about you.
We do not use the information stored in cookies to identify you. Nor is it merged with other personal data that we have stored about you.
If you do not want cookies to be used, you can set your browser so that it does not accept cookies. Please note that in this case, you may only be able to use our website to a limited extent or not at all.
When third-party content is integrated, it is possible that additional cookies (in particular so-called long-term cookies, i.e., cookies that remain on your computer's hard drive for a certain period of time) may be set. If you only want to accept our cookies but not cookies from third parties, you can select the “Block third-party cookies” setting in your browser.
Use of Google Maps
Our website uses Google Maps API, a map service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), to display an interactive map. When you use Google Maps, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
It would be technically possible for Google to identify at least individual users based on the data received. It would be possible for personal data and personality profiles of website users to be processed by Google for other purposes over which we have no influence and cannot have any influence.
You can easily deactivate the Google Maps service and thus prevent data transfer to Google by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use the map display.
Integration of YouTube content
Our website integrates content from the third-party provider YouTube. By default, only deactivated images from the YouTube channel are embedded, which do not establish an automated connection to YouTube's servers. This means that the operator does not receive any data from the user when the websites are accessed.
You can decide for yourself whether the YouTube videos should be activated. Only when you start playing the videos by clicking on the “Play” button do you give your consent for the necessary data (including the Internet address of the current page and the user's IP address) to be transmitted to the operator.
We set a cookie to save the settings requested by the user. However, when setting these cookies, we do not store any personal data; they only contain anonymized data for customizing the browser. The videos are then active and can be played by the user. If you want to deactivate the automatic loading of YouTube videos again, you can remove the check mark for consent under the privacy icon. This will also update the cookie settings.
By using YouTube, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
When do we share data with third parties?
Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed here if you expressly consent to this or if we are required to do so by law or by an official or court order.
All processors are contractually obliged under Art. 28 GDPR to ensure the protection of your personal data by means of technical and organizational measures.
Where is my data stored?
We process your personal data exclusively in data centers in Germany.
How long will my data be stored?
Personal data will be deleted when it is no longer required for the purposes described in this statement, unless legal provisions require longer storage.
What rights do I have with regard to the processing of my data?
You and all other persons affected by our use of data have the right to obtain information about the personal data we have stored and, if the respective legal requirements are met, the right to confirmation, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing.
You and the other persons affected also have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
